You have a job to do.

Okay, now, as this is apparently my 100th post since I started this blogging habit, and I have successfully staved off doing housework, paperwork, paying my bills, and bathing my children so I am able to sit on my behind a few minutes and update all 4 of my readers about the ins-and-outs of our lives and what happens to be really irritating me at the moment. So now I'm making a request of you, my 4 readers. I want to know who you are (anonymous stalkers accepted), a little about yourself, and how you found my blog or what makes you keep reading it, or what you want to see more or less of. It'll just give me a little motivation for writing (other than my mother complaining that, even though I have already told her all our news on the phone, she wants to see it in written form.)

So that's your job. Please don't leave me hanging; I'm looking forward to learning about you guys!

I found your blog through Drakye's blog.
I was the researcher at Vanderbilt with Dax and his PICC line, and I was so happy to find your blog so that I could see how big Dax is getting. Plus, I think your descriptions are hilarious.

Love your blog

Seriously you need to know a little about me and how I found your blog...seriously?!?! Well here it is...I am the CMC nurse who was lucky enough to be assigned to Dax very early in his life. I fell in love with him, and then his sweet family, stuck my neck out, broke some rules ;), and here you are stuck with me for life. :) Also, I learned very early what a fantastic writer you are and, like your mother, wait to see your updates in written form.

I was lucky enough to find you through Chases blog!! Cuz Lemmy and Dax have the same brain injury and it's so cool to see how awesome he is doing. And you've become a good friend. =)

ok lets see....my son decided to enter the world at the begining of playoff season and when we were on our way out the door, some little chick with a NY covered isolet was placed next to him. We all GAGGED but somehow became really good friends with her parents. Yup, even her dad!! Then we hear from my cousin about a sweet lady in Nashville who needs some prayers. Our new friend tells us the same story. Could this be the same Mollie?? Surely not? But OMG it is!!! So praying we began. I started using MySpace and wow, she is friends with New friend and cousin...maybe I should friend her too. Hmmm, she is on cousins blog...maybe I should read her too...So I guess this is the tale of how you got your 4th reader. :)

I found your blog through Jennifers blog - I have two year old twins, born at 33 weeks and I followed everything I could find regarding premmies. Dax is so handsome and doing great and I think you are a super mum.

Well, I guess I'm your 5th reader... I began following your blog thru Stephanie's Our Little Miracle's blog, her listing of blogs she follows. I have fallen in love with this little champions and love to watch their progress. I find your writing style refreshing. I like your sense of humour and I enjoy hearing about how you go thru the things you do with optimism and courage. Please write lots more, especially about the developing bond of your sons as brothers! Post away, rantings, musings, poetry (that happy birthday to me post was hilarious!) and anything else in your daily life and I'm sure we'll all read it because somehow you always make it interesting.

Well doh! We were only next door neighbors in the Centennial NICU. LOL.

I have this insatiable need to know all of the little ones & parents that touched mine & Drayke's lives are ok.

Well, I am fortunate enough to be related by birth to Mollie. If I did not read it I would be in trouble with my Auntie and Mollie, you are really quite the funny blogger. We are not in Choctaw County at the same time very often so I read to keep up.( and to tell the bald truth the little and not so little miracles keep a crazy world in perspective)

Melissa, so glad to know you're following! He's grown so much since we saw you! How did you research turn out?

Leanne- I plead the 5th. I know nothing! :)

Jennifer- So glad we've met. You and Liam are such inspirations!

Leann- I'll never get over what a coincidence that was. I had Michelle's hand-me-downs through you before I even realized that Will was THE Will. Ha!

Kate- Thanks so much for your kind words! I'd love to hear about your twins!

Anon- That means a lot to me, thanks! These kiddos are my heroes, too. And the birthday poem was completely true!

Lorri- we're so glad we were able to get to know you guys. Drayke was such a tough little man, and we'll never, ever forget him and his poop signals :) What a fighter!

And Shawn, you have to keep reading no matter how boring I get. You're stuck with us :)Love you!

he has gotten so big.
The research turned out just fine. We found that the patch on the picc was safe for even the itty bittiest babies. I am starting back in november for phase two which will study how effective the patch is.

I was introduced to the world of Mollie and Dax by a very caring friend and coworker, V. I needed to vent my own NICU frustrations to someone who would understand when my little guy was going through his paces. Mollie, I love your writing and your sense of humor. I check constantly to see if you've posted any news and I love to watch both Dax and Ty progress. You guys are like a favorite tv show!

I honestly don't remember how I found your blog. But glad I did. We share similiar experiences and it's always nice to find someone who understands the stressful yet joyous journey of a micro-preemie. You have a great sense of humor and I always enjoy reading about Dax and his accomplishments.

I started following your blog after my husband, Jamar, would read me your story from Myspace. I love to hear about Dax's progress and I even get a little jealous of how well he is doing, such an inspiration for me and my son Ryan.

Don't know how I got here for sure, but it was from another preemie's blog. I was intrigued and have been coming back whenever you update. I am interested in prematurity and the after life. I am the mom to twin boys born at 33 and 6. Thought I was going to deliver way before I did, but my crappy cervix and uterus held out way longer than anyone, my doctors included, ever thought they would. Thanks for sharing your story.

Well, Mollie don't know what number I am, but I am one of Dax's biggest fans! I hear he is having coming out party #2 in Louisville on Halloween???? Is the rumor true? I hope so! Love yall, Lacey Dunlap

I'm a guilty preemie blog stalker, too. It's this pull to know how they're all doing... To compare and learn, and maybe be able to help another family too when they're going through something you've already muddled through. Thanks guys for following!

I found your blog on the preemie group through myspace I believe. Me having had my twins at 23weeks,4days and lost my son at 8 weeks, and my survivor on oxygen a while, I of course feel connected to anyone who has gone through the same. I love your blog b/c I like seeing how Dax is doing and you always crack me up.

I began keeping up with the updates on Fax for the email prayer request I receive everyday, and when I found out you had started a blog...well by then I was looking forward to his updates and had to become a dedicated reader! So glad to see how well he is doing...I remember when you would write asking that we all pray for pee...he's come a long way since then! Stil praying for you all! Congrats on the new addition!

Sorry meant Dax...that's what I get for using predictive text on this blackberry!

I am a friend of "oops" and have been keeping up since you started the blog. Actually before because Dustpan (as i call him, although i am thinking of changing to OOPS) would forward me the updates you would email. I love your sense of humor and I can tell it runs in the family! Keep up the great work! I love your blogs!

Mollie, I am spending this morning (of course I should be working) catching up on your blog. It is amazing how you find humor in everything just the same as you have found the courage to be everything your children need you to be. I found your blog noted on your myspace page. I am a "Weir" native and even though I didn't know you in high school I have always "known" who you are. Also, I am certain there are many, many more than 4 readers. And, as for the book I think it would be great!!
