Deep thoughts from a scattered mind

So it hit me a bit ago that one month from today will be Aubrie's second birthday.

Wow. Time flies.

I started thinking about what characters she would have liked if she had lived... What kind of birthday party she would have wanted... What kind of things a two-year-old girl would like.

And then my heart skipped a beat.

I prayed the prayer before I knew what I was saying, and then I had to laugh at myself.

"Dear God," I said, "Please don't throw her a Hannah Montana party!"

I'm sure He wasn't anyway, but I guess it couldn't hurt to have put in a verbal request :)

I love it. I'm guessing any daughter of yours would be more of the Mulan type - strong, independent, with maybe just a touch of stubborn. :)

I believe she is having the best Hannah Montana birthday party ever with her great grandparents who have her so rotten even you couldn't stand it.

When I am in town on Jordans birthday, I take birthday character ballons to his grave. One year it was Blues clues...I dreaded Blue but knew it would have been right up his alley! I never gave into the Wiggles though, I just could NOT do it!
