I'm a preemie mom blogger... Not one of the super-inspirational, "God-has-a-beautiful-plan," type bloggers, though I wish I were, but more of a "we're-just-going-to-laugh-and-get-through-this" type of blogger. Enter the main characters, Daxton, a former 23 weeker turned evil genius, and his not-so-little brother Tyler... And the many, many adventures that ensue.

Time for a roll-call
So, I think it's time for another roll-call! I wanna know who you are, where you're from, and one thing you love (or don't love) about this blog o'mine. Please don't be shy! And, fellow bloggers, please share a little about your own blog. Even if I already know you, someone else might be looking for a blog just like yours today!

Hey! My name is Jenny. I live in Delta, OH. I love to watch your babies grow! I love that when something is not right in your opinion you grab the bull by the horns and make sure that people hear about it! I think I found your blog originally from a premature baby group on myspace. I too had a preemie, not as early, not as complicated but a preemie. Take Care!
By the way any news on the baby that was with the foster parents?
Hey,
It's Emma!
I Love your blog due to the way you write, the way you make us laugh with some of your posts but most of all for keeping up on how Dax and the rest of the sheppard clan are doing.
We will always be blessed to be preemie mothers :)
Hi - Shannon from WI. I stumbled upon your blog a number of months ago and am now a faithful reader. I LOVE watching your kids grow and change. I LOVE that you aren't afraid to speak up and take chances. I LOVE that you have faith and aren't afraid to fight for what Dax needs. I am the mother of a preemie with shunted hydrocephalus, cerebral palsy, infantile spasms and cortical vision impairment and a son with neurlogic damage, global delays and sensory integration disorder.
Hi guys!
@Jenny, I haven't talked to Mom since right before they left for Disney. My last report was that the bio parents missed yet another visitation, and are well on their way to abandonment... However, in the state of TN you have to not show up for a ridiculously long time before it's an official abandonment. The family should all be back from FL soon, and I'll update as soon as I hear anything more!
@Emma, you are so right :) Wouldn't trade it for the world!
@Shannon, you're one of the most amazing people I know... Just in case you don't hear it enough.
I'm Dan! At one time I was known as "other husband" after delivery of some much needed pumpkin concoction from Starbucks. I am also the husband of one of your favorite NICU nurses. My blog has nothing to do with babies or hospitals. I follow your blog so I can keep with the craziness that is the Sheppard household.
Hi I'm Megan in VA Beach and I've been lurking for a while! I have little baby Charlie who was a preemie and now at 15 months is 15 pounds. It's always helpful to see how others with somewhat similar circumstances fare!
